Service Description

This course will allow for a certified STB Instructor to observe and precept your bleeding control skills via a virtual platform. Upon completion of the course, the STB certification will be delivered to students via E-Mail. IMPORTANT: Prior to registering for this course, please ensure that you meet the following requirements: (1) You have already completed the Stop the Bleed VIRTUAL/INTERACTIVE Lecture Course found here: https://www.stopthebleed.org/get-trained/online-course/ (2) You possess a Tourniquet (CAT or SOF) that can be utilized to demonstrate (to an instructor) the skills learned. (3) You possess ANY of the following: rolled gauze, OR old T-shirt, OR Quick Clot Trainer (for wound packing). (4) A full paper towel roll (with packaging removed), OR any appropriate bleeding control training device. (5) A desk or table where the bleeding control training devices can be placed for demonstration. (6) Appropriate learning environment and technology setup: computer, webcam, etc. where an instructor can observe your skills as you apply it (cameras MUST be turned ON). Students must complete both "Lecture" and "Skills" components in order to receive the Stop the Bleed Certification.
